Bio:
Joe, or Mango as his friends call him, spent his early years living in Northern California and Nevada before his family moved to Kona when he was 12 years old. He then met a strange kid named Miles who introduced him to the wonderful world of diving, and they have been friends ever since.
Joe has a B.S. in Global Environmental Science from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, where he spent much of his time studying invasive algae at the Hawai’i Institute of Marine Biology.
Joe is a huge camera geek, so if you have any questions about underwater photography he is a great person to ask.
