Chrissy Dupuis
Scuba Instructor
Sales
Bio: For Chrissy, it all started when she swam in Kealakekua Bay for the first time. She was two years old when she launched herself off the back of the Fairwinds snorkel boat seconds before the guide could get her into a life jacket. He had to dive in after her and from that moment, it was obvious Chrissy was more comfortable in the water than out.
Growing up she spent many family vacations river rafting in the Northwest, was an integral part of her high school swim team and water polo team, and received her scuba certification while on a family vacation, here in Kona, when she was fourteen.
Although she was an honors scholar and received a BA in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound, a desk job was not for her. Within six months of moving permanently to the Big Island she and her boyfriend, Matt (also part of the Jack’s family) accomplished their mutual dream of becoming PADI SCUBA instructors.
