Alexia Benrezkellah
PADI Instructor / Sales
Bio: Alexia first peered below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea when she was 10 and remembers the her first glimpse of the amazing fish world. But it wouldn’t for another 20 years that a Discover Scuba Diving experience at Jack’s would ignite her passion for the ocean. She rushed home to California and took every SCUBA class she could and dived Monterey Bay and exotic locations as much as she could. She met her partner Ryan at their local dive shop and after completing their instructor training together in 2008, they packed up their California lives and moved to Southeast Asia where they traveled and worked as instructors for more than two years. Not ready to give up living the dream, but ready to come back home, Hawaii and Jack’s Diving Locker gave Alexia and Ryan a perfect opportunity and she is extremely happy to be part of the Jack’s family.
Alexia already has some favorite local critters and is looking forward to each new discovery of underwater Kona. She is a native of Paris, France, but has been moving west ever since she can remember, living in France, England, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Mexico, California, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and now Hawaii. While living in Thailand, Alexia started running, something she had always loathed. It’s growing on her and she is looking forward to participating in the 2012 Kona ½ Marathon. She is also a practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga.
