Jack's Diving Locker Going Green

Jack's Diving Locker is a leader in environmental and community work. “Being Green” is nothing new to Jack's Diving Locker. Starting in the 1980’s, owners Jeff and Teri Leicher spearheaded a mooring buoy project to preserve the coral reef. The state-wide project is still going strong with Jack's Diving Locker’s continued support and involvement.
For the past 20 years, Jack's Diving Locker has been a key contributor for local underwater clean-ups by organizing volunteers and supplying gear. In addition, community involvement is a high priority for the company with outreach and education.
Jack’s Diving Locker is serious about the effort it takes as a business in “Being Green.” The company actively participates in recycling and using solar energy as well as continually explores more ways to help the planet.
Teri Leicher states, “We care about our environment, our island, and our planet. I’m very proud of my staff and our company in our efforts in preserving Hawaii’s natural resources and educating the community and children about marine conservation and ocean ecology.”
